It became so much easier for people to create their own music and build an audience even if they are not under any music labels. His mother was always in support of his music career and is still ready to help him reach a more extensive audience base.

In 2019, Laroi signed a contract under Columbia Records by Lil Bibby. But after Lil Bibby's death, Laroi was mentored by Juice WRLD, his fellow rapper. Laroi had been a fan of Juice ever since he first met the artist in 2018. Later on, Laroi was invited as Juice's supporting act on the Australian leg 2018 and 20019 tours.
In terms of music, Laroi and Juice WRLD hold similar styles. Both of them have a melodramatic rap style that was loved by their fans. And since Juice's passing, his followers hoped for Laroi to continue his legacy and continue to create the same music style that the late rapper once did.
Laroi's SoundCloud page offers a lot of unofficially released songs. Yet, his Spotify page only provides four songs in an official discography. Besides, only one of the four songs were released in December 2019. But despite a minimal selection of songs, Laroi has more than 3 million monthly listeners on Spotify.

The young artist's most famous song was called Diva. It features another rising rapper Lil Tecca. The song garnered 24 million streams since it has been released in the late part of January this year. The song and its music video, directed by Cole Bennett, were released on the same day. Also, Diva was not the only Laroi's song that Bennett directed the music video. In December 2019, Laroi and Bennett had their first collaboration for the song Let Her Go. Furthermore, the latest music that he released was entitled Addison Rae, named after the famous TikTok personality.
